Zalira Akmal Ariffin is the Founder & Principal Owner of Borong Emas Malaysia, a gold bullion and jewelry business focusing on sustainable physical gold ownership for individuals, businesses, and institutional clients. She also serves as Founder and Principal Partner of Asiagate Zentral Business Solutions, a corporate advisory firm providing strategic financial and organisational solutions to entrepreneurs, SMEs, corporations, and institutions.

As an Accounting graduate from the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, Zalira brings over two decades of experience across banking, audit, corporate advisory, and the media and creative industries.
Her strong financial foundation, combined with extensive strategic leadership experience, enables her to drive business growth and deliver long-term value across diverse sectors. Her professional background includes roles at Maybank, MustaphaRaj, and as Chief Financial Officer at Nusantara Seni Karya, an Astro subsidiary specialising in film, drama, and animation production.
She founded Borong Emas Malaysia to address the need for credible wealth preservation solutions and to reshape public understanding of physical gold as a long-term financial instrument that safeguards wealth, preserves purchasing power, and strengthens intergenerational resilience.
